Walk and talk
Research has shown that exercise and being outdoors can improve mental health. By shredding the boundaries of the therapy room, it can aid therapy, improve mood and be calming and peaceful.
The pace is set by the client, there is no strenuous workout and we can go whatever the weather, your call.
How does it work?
For those who prefer to be outdoors. We meet at a local spot usually a local park and walk along the path whilst talking therapy occurs. Be mindful of those around us and confidentiality. Useful to incorporate mindfulness – mindful walking and using nature to aid with therapy.
Each session is £40 per hour.
Steps we take.
If you do run across someone you know, you take the lead as to what you want to do – wave, go in the opposite direction, or say hello. This will be discussed in the first session during the contract.
