About
Hi, I’m Becca.
I’m a qualified Integrative Counsellor.
Since qualifying as a counsellor, I have provided both long- and short-term therapy in a variety of settings, including primary schools, GP surgeries, charities and more. I have worked with people of all ages from the age of 5 and upwards. These clients have entered therapy at varying life stages, bringing with them different challenges, issues and needs. This has provided me with valuable experience which will enable us to work together to achieve the most out of your therapy.
Prior to counselling I worked as a qualified nurse for almost 20 years, giving me a rich experience in working with people with both mental and physical illnesses. I believe this experience and my own life experience has given me a firm grounding to help with the issues and challenges brought into the therapy room.
I decided to start Asha Counselling Services to provide a warm, empathic, understanding, non-judgemental service to people in a calm, homely environment. I have a genuine interest in helping people. My goal of therapy is for you to feel safe, valued, heard and empowered to help you with the challenges in your life.
Our new purpose-built therapy room in the heart of Caerphilly Borough’s countryside provides a safe and confidential space for you to explore and work on whatever you need to. It provides a calming, peaceful environment which in conjunction with therapy, helps to calm the chaos in your mind. Enabling clarity of thought, inner peace and a better understanding of yourself.
