Hi I’m Becca.
I’m a qualified Integrative Counsellor.
For the past 3 years I have worked as an associate counsellor in Porthcawl, providing long and short term counselling for a wide variety of conditions. I have also worked as a Counsellor in GP surgeries providing short term therapy, and worked in a primary school, counselling children. This has provided me with a wide range of experience.
I decided to start Asha Counselling Services to provide a warm, empathic, understanding, non-judgemental service to people in a calm, homely environment. I have a genuine interest in helping people. My goal of therapy is for you to feel safe, valued, heard and empowered to help you with the challenges in your life.
Prior to counselling I worked as a qualified nurse for almost 20 years, giving me a rich experience in working with people with both mental and physical illnesses. I believe this experience and my own life experience has given me a firm grounding to help with the issues and challenges brought into the therapy room.
